As an Associate Attorney at For Purpose Law Group, Allison Daze brings a rare combination of frontline nonprofit experience and legal expertise to her work with mission-driven organizations. She specializes in guiding tax-exempt organizations through a wide range of legal, tax, and regulatory challenges with clarity, compassion, and strategic focus.

Prior to joining FPLG, Allison served as the inaugural Resident in Nonprofit Law at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. In that role, she provided in-house legal support on complex matters including private foundation operations, grantmaking, program-related investments, governance, and charitable transactions.

Before earning her law degree, Allison spent over seven years working in nonprofit fundraising and communications at Chicago-based afterschool programs—giving her firsthand insight into the challenges nonprofit leaders face every day. This real-world experience continues to shape her client-centered approach, grounded in a genuine passion for community investment and nonprofit success.

At FPLG, Allison partners with clients to ensure they have the legal guidance they need to thrive, manage risk, and stay focused on their missions.

Emily Little to Join Panel at 2025 National Adaptive Leadership Summit

Emily Little, Senior Counsel at For Purpose Law Group (FPLG), will serve as a panelist at the 2025 National Adaptive Leadership Summit, hosted by the National Family Support Network, taking place May 20–22, 2025, in Washington, D.C. Ms. Little will contribute to the session titled “Nonprofit Legal Crossroads: Navigating Risk, Compliance, and Mission,” a facilitated conversation exploring the legal and governance challenges that arise at the intersection of mission-driven leadership and regulatory compliance. With extensive experience advising tax-exempt organizations on governance, compliance, and organizational development, Ms. Little brings a pragmatic and solutions-oriented legal perspective to the discussion.
