Sarah Mark

As Legal Services Manager at For Purpose Law Group, Sarah Mark brings sharp operational instincts, a compliance-driven mindset, and a genuine commitment to service to her leadership of FPLG’s legal support team. In her role, she supports and coordinates the work FPLG does on behalf of our nonprofit and social enterprise clients, including nonprofit formation, compliance, property tax exemption, and trademark registrations, helping to ensure every client’s needs are met with strategic focus and exceptional care.

Sarah’s path to FPLG reflects a career built on precision, procedure, and people. As a chemist in laboratory and plant operations for a major energy company, she authored and implemented nearly 300 ASTM-compliant standard operating procedures, managed round-the-clock scheduling for teams of laboratory technicians, and oversaw quality control programs that kept complex, highly regulated operations running smoothly. She went on to serve as a House Director for a national collegiate nonprofit organization, managing staff, coordinating contractors and stakeholders, and building the record-keeping
and reporting systems that kept a busy operation organized and accountable.

She holds a B.S. in Microbiology, with a minor in Molecular Biology, from the University of Wyoming, and is currently pursuing a Master of Library and Information Studies with an Archival concentration from the University of Alabama.

That blend of scientific rigor, operational leadership, and an archivist’s eye for documentation makes Sarah a natural fit for managing FPLG’s legal support function. She’s known for her proactive communication, meticulous attention to detail, and steady, solution-driven approach which are all qualities that empower FPLG’s attorneys to focus on delivering the exceptional counsel our clients rely on.

Outside the office, Sarah is an active printmaker and visual artist who exhibits her work in juried shows and gallery exhibitions, and a trained vocalist who has performed everywhere from local stages to Carnegie Hall. She’s also a dedicated mentor and volunteer science fair judge, always chasing her next creative or educational pursuit.
