Jody Gzhadawsot Mattena supports the accounting and billing functions at FPLG, helping ensure client accounts are managed with accuracy and care. Her work bridges the financial and communications sides of the firm, strengthening FPLG’s ability to serve clients with clarity and responsiveness.

Jody brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and community engagement. She is the founder of BossLady Anish, an online platform where she educates about Indigenous foodways and cultural traditions, and the author of Gbaton Neshnábé: Cook Something Neshnábé—How to Decolonize Your Pantry and Diet. She also co-founded Tabibu Africa, Inc., a humanitarian nonprofit serving women and children in East Africa.

Her unique background—combining operational skill, nonprofit governance, and community-based advocacy—shapes her approach to supporting FPLG’s team and clients. Through her dual role in billing and marketing, Jody helps advance the firm’s mission to empower nonprofit leaders and strengthen organizations that create lasting impact.
