As Of Counsel at For Purpose Law Group, Abigail Fournier brings a practical, business-minded approach to her work with nonprofits, social enterprises, and mission-driven founders. Based in the firm’s Laramie, Wyoming office, Abigail advises clients on organizational structure, regulatory compliance, governance, and general counsel matters—with a particular focus on helping changemakers build sustainable operations that align with their purpose.
Abigail is a member of FPLG’s social enterprise, nonprofit, and litigation practice groups. Her clients include entrepreneurs launching hybrid business models, nonprofits navigating tax exemption or state charitable registration, and organizations addressing disputes or risk management challenges. With a background in both transactional law and litigation, she’s skilled at identifying issues before they arise and delivering straightforward, strategic guidance.
A Cheyenne native, Abigail earned both her J.D. and B.S. in Business Administration (with honors) from the University of Wyoming. Her commitment to service and to her clients is grounded in the belief that communities thrive when bold ideas are paired with solid legal foundations.
Outside of her legal work, Abigail enjoys life in the mountain West—spending time with her family, exploring Wyoming’s wild beauty, and supporting the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
