Community Spotlight, July 2018: The San Diego Blood Bank

Starting this month, For Purpose Law Group will select and feature one of our clients… a nonprofit organization or social enterprise doing great work, and changing the world for our Community Spotlight.
For the month of July, 2018, all of us at FPLG have selected to feature and support the San Diego Blood Bank by not only sponsoring the Live Well San Diego 5k, but also participating!! All of our attorneys and staff will be participating by running/walking in this critically important (and fun!!) event!
So – if you see a few of us huffing and puffing around our South Park neighborhood, attempting to get up to speed running a 5k, we hope you not only cheer us on, but that you join us!
Now in its 5th year, the 2018 Live Well San Diego 5K and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run will bring thousands of San Diegans together on Sunday, July 29th in support of a healthy, safe and thriving San Diego County.
In partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank, this year’s event will celebrate the hero in all of us with a superhero-themed race and activities throughout the morning.

• Interact with local heroes from our military, police and fire
• Enjoy family-friendly activities and vendors
• Nosh on local food truck offerings

Be a hero and join us for this fun-filled family and pet-friendly event benefitting the life-saving work of the San Diego Blood Bank. Come on out to the Waterfront Park on July 29th for some family fun in the sun!
Also – join the San Diego Padres after the race for an afternoon of baseball as the Padres face the Diamondbacks at 1:10 pm. Specially discounted tickets are available with promo code “LWSD5K” and also includes a donation back to the San Diego Blood Bank.
