Ryan Doyle serves as a Senior Counsel at FPLG, and he advises nonprofit organizations and social enterprises on corporate matters including taxation, entity formation, contract negotiation, governance, and compliance.
Prior to joining FPLG, Mr. Doyle spent five years at a "Big Four" firm, where he advised large multinational corporations on complex taxation matters. Some of these matters involved Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for clients primarily in the retail sector. Mr. Doyle also worked for several years as an associate attorney at a boutique San Diego law firm, where he handled tax controversies, voluntary offshore disclosures, tax planning, entity formation, and corporate governance.
Most recently, Mr. Doyle served as an attorney for the Internal Revenue Service's Office of Chief Counsel in the Large Business & International Division, where he handled litigation in the U.S. Tax Court and advised revenue agents. In law school, Mr. Doyle served as a Lead Articles Editor on the San Diego Law Review.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys surfing the many breaks of San Diego County, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
